The Value and Impact of Mobile Information and Communication Technologies

The use of mobile information and communication technologies (mICTs) in enterprises is a slowly emerging reality. While the significance of mobility is understood, only little theoretical understanding of the potential value and impact of these technologies exists. This research fills the gap by defining the general concept of mobility, discussing the unique characteristics of mICTs, and identifying key value propositions for enterprises.
